Hydrangea quercifolia Alice

Height: 0,5–0,6 m

Hydrangea Alice is a variety of oakleaf hydrangea that grows to about 2-2.5 m in height and 2-2.5 m in width. Its leaves are similar to oak leaves but much larger, deeply lobed and dark green. Its autumn leaf color is bronze, later turning burgundy, which makes a wonderful autumn sight. Its flower cluster is large, 25-35 cm, cone-shaped and upright, at first white and gradually turning pink. The cluster consists of large sterile flowers and small fertile flowers. It blooms for 6-8 weeks, with flowering starting in June. It prefers partial shade or part sun. It does not like direct sun, as its leaves will scorch. Well-structured, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil is ideal for it. It can be planted as a standalone plant in larger gardens, parks, or in combination with other plants.
